Büyükada

Aya Yorgi Church, with its old church built in 1751 and its later additions, is located in Yücetepe, the highest point of Büyükada. There is a widespread belief that wishes come true in the church, where many people from different faiths gather to meet in common prayers and wishes on April 23 and September 24 each year.
